I played with Sony waterproof camera Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 for few month and that is my conclusion:

Shooter speed works very fast even in the dark, and I would probably saying that it is much faster than my older Nikon DSLR-90 or my mum's Sony Cybershot W-70. It is bit grainy but as I always say grainy is better than blurry. I'm happy with purchase so below I will explain what I find good and ugly about Sony waterproof camera Cyber-shot DSC-TX5:

Good sides of Sony waterproof camera Cyber-shot DSC-TX5:

• As I said before super fast shooter (night or day)
• Water proof You could use it under water but do not push it to the limits(5m Max)
• Slim as ... well You could not feel it in your pocket
• It powers up very fast!
• Has very user friendly touch pad screen
• Super colour scheme
• Good Flash
• Lastly I'm in  love with HD video the picture so bright and colourful ... imprest

Ugly parts  of Sony waterproof camera Cyber-shot DSC-TX5:

• Short battery life 2 hours Max if use it continuously( I bought spare one) it is harder to close the lid much harder than usual Sony Cybershot probably it is because it is waterproof.
• The deleting feature is very sensitive so be very careful do not delete all. Fortunately i have not got big fingers otherwise would be in deep stuff.
• It takes some practise to hold it because it sooo slim
• The Flash is very powerful, so you would be better to use sony waterproof camera Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 outside not inside otherwise it will wash the faces but hen again it is cool in the dark
• The speakers on the camera is very weak but then again it is WATERPROOF so I will say it is OK still what you listen it on your PC the sound is fine.

It looks that ugly points a bit more and it is probably because this camera is made very slim but on other hand it is very light. I think sony waterproof camera Cyber-shot DSC-TX5 will keep my happy for many years from now, nevertheless there is always a place for improvement!
